Hello! Thank you for stopping by our little piece of the online world. In case you haven’t had the chance to stop by and meet everyone…let me tell you a little about us!

Donna is the owner and proprietor of Golden’s Book Exchange. A lifelong resident of Central Texas, she also runs an estate sale/liquidations business and is interested in antiques, live music, and excellent food. She is a big fan of mystery and suspense novels, one of her favorites being “Swan Song” by Robert McCammon.

Pam can be found every weekday morning at the store, as she has been for the last fourteen years. She is Donna’s cousin and enjoys spending time with her family, dining out, and taking cruises where she rarely leaves the ship. She reads most contemporary fiction, but her favorites include Lee Child, Stuart Woods, Harlan Coben, and “The Help” by Kathryn Stockett.

Phyllis always has a smile on her face; she has been one of Donna’s best friends since high school and has been part of the Golden’s Book Exchange family for many years. She loves New Age and astrology books as well as nonfiction like “The Secret” and Sylvia Browne; she is a Taurus who enjoys traveling to see her family, working around the house, and gardening.

Billy is a Waco native who worked at Golden’s many years ago and then moved to Colorado for awhile; he has since returned and taken up the mantle of Comic Book Guy at the bookstore. Billy is best known for his photographic memory and bottomless fountain of trivia and knowledge regarding films and comics. His favorite books include “The Devil in White City” by Erik Larson, “The Rum Diaries” by Hunter S. Thompson, and “American Gods” by Neil Gaiman.
